Privacy information
Publication status: This product information is a draft. A complete privacy policy requires review and publication by the service owner.
This page explains how current Preptometry features use information. It does not set out a complete privacy policy or establish retention periods, legal rights, or jurisdiction-specific terms.
Your account and practice records
Preptometry uses account information to sign you in and associate practice records with your account. Saved bench records include the practice information and measurements you provide. Interview records include your session choices, questions, submitted answers, transcripts, and generated feedback.
Spoken interviews and AI feedback
Spoken interview practice requires microphone access. Audio and conversation content are processed using speech and AI services to recognize your answers, generate interview questions, produce spoken responses, and prepare feedback. These features involve service providers beyond your browser.
Granting microphone access starts the browser permission flow; it does not mean the service operates only on your device. Avoid including patient identifiers, confidential clinical records, or other sensitive information in practice answers.
Service providers
Current features rely on these providers:
- Supabase hosts accounts, sign-in, saved practice records, interview transcripts and reports, and profile photos.
- Your browser's speech recognition turns spoken answers into text. Depending on the browser, this may be performed by the browser vendor's speech service (for example, Google in Chrome or Apple in Safari).
- DeepSeek receives interview settings, questions, and your recognized answers to generate follow-up questions and feedback.
- Deepgram receives the text of Root's questions to produce Root's spoken voice. Preptometry does not send your own recorded audio to Deepgram.
Preptometry does not store raw audio recordings.
Practice only
Interview questions, scores, and feedback are generated for exam and interview practice. They are not clinical advice, admissions advice, or an assessment by any school, program, or licensing body.
Sessions and browser storage
Authentication uses cookies to maintain your sign-in session. Browser storage may also remember interface preferences such as your theme. Practice records are saved so you can return to them after a session.
Information still to be published
The complete policy needs to identify the responsible service operator and privacy contact, specify the applicable service providers and processing details, explain retention and deletion practices, describe any international transfers, and provide the relevant privacy rights and request procedures.
Until that review is complete, this page should be read as limited product information. It does not claim compliance with a particular privacy framework.
